In the school of God

Mary, pregnant with the Holy Spirit, comes a day visit Elizabeth, her cousin and future mother of John the Baptist.
The child Elizabeth door for 6 months rejoices inside her.
The Holy Spirit animates the already before birth.
Like every child in the womb, it is already a human being, capable of reactions and emotions. Jean-Baptiste's parents are older at the time of his birth. They certainly did not have the privilege of time raising their children, but God took care of his education.
Like Moses and many other servants of God, John the Baptist is formed from the world, in a desert. From his youth, "it remains in the deserts until the day of his manifestation to Israel" (Luke 1. 80).
He led a difficult existence. He did not eat bread and he does not drink alcoholic beverages (Luke 7. 33).
It feeds that provides the wilderness, locusts and wild honey.
Like the prophet Elijah, he is dressed in a garment of camel's hair. This garment was that of the poor and also the prophets (Zech. 13 4). He thus understand that the expectation of the Messiah is a time of fasting, repentance and sorrow for the Jewish people, not a time for celebration.
Formed by God in the Desert School, Jean can begin his ministry.
He preached in the wilderness of Judea, a region sparsely populated west of the Dead Sea.
It does nothing that comes from the world, but only the Word of God.
It is only a voice, a spokesman of God (John 1: 23). His message brings nothing that attracts male attention on himself, but on the need for repentance.

Certainly, we do not have to physically live in a desert that God forms us.
But God can make us go through difficulties, a school of patience in trial, to form our character, to deepen our faith and rooted in Scripture.
Our generation needs new "John the Baptist" preparing "the way of the Lord" in the heart of men (Mark 1. 3).
To be like him a spokesman, let us form in the school of God!
