The Holy Spirit in the believer
A good reading and listening to your Radio Gospel C.J.Q.S. at: http://cjqsradio.blogspot.fr/p/radio.html
"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Ephesians 4. 30
The Holy Spirit came to dwell in believers after the Lord has accomplished redemption through His death on the cross, he rose through the glory of the Father, and he sat at the right hand of God .
The Holy Spirit is not a feeling or a feeling, or only a power. It is, like Father, like Son, a divine person. He speaks he send laborers to proclaim the Gospel (Acts. 13. 2), convicts the world of sin (John 16. .
He comforts and delights believers by taking what is in Christ and in the communicating them. It encourages and directs them (John 16. 13-15; Rom. 8. 14).
He glorifies the Son by revealing that it is in person.
The desire of the Spirit is to make us fully enjoy the things that belong to us, which is our inheritance in Christ by faith.
But it can be grieved when we do not walk in holiness by choosing our own ways. Obviously we could not sadden if it was a blessing or power. Resident in every believer, the Holy Spirit takes knowledge of every word we speak, he knows every thought that rises in us, he sees everything we do.
We are admonished: "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God." This does not mean that we leave when we grieve because he lives in us forever as the Lord said: "[Father] will give you another Counselor to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth "(John 14. 16). What does the term "sealed" asks do you sometimes?
The Holy Spirit of God is the personal stamp of authenticity and ownership, the seal that God has placed on us.
His presence gives assurance that our mortal bodies will rise again.
This brand is the presence of the Holy Spirit in us is a guarantee given by God "for the day of redemption" of our bodies, the day the Lord will come for his (1 Thess. 4. 15-18); day when we receive a new body similar to that of the Lord Jesus Christ resurrected (Phil. 3. 21).
